En zeer goede & leuke plaat van de 26 jarige Australiër Ben Lee (ontdekt door Thurston Moore) uit februari 2005 (van zijn CD: " Awake Is The New Sleep") !!! <br><br>Afgelopen zondag 29-01-2006 trouwens nog LIVE te bewonderen in Rotown Rotterdam !!! In het begin en tussendoor lijkt het net of de Josti Band meedoen met de triangel !!! Dat zou natuurlijk uniek zijn geweest !!!<br><br>Ben Lee's "Catch My Disease" kwam nieuw binnen op plaats # 27 van de Nederlandse Tip 30, van 4 februari 2006<br><br>"That's The Way I Like It" !!! Admittedly it was a little overplayed but it is still a great song which deserved a lot of attention. Preferred Gamble Everything For Love though. |

It gets slightly less annoying with time but gosh it really does have a tendency to easily irritate doesn't it? The fact that his voice is annoying and that it's so repetitive really doesn't help matters. I hear this less nowadays thankfully, and that's definitely the way I like it. Good thing this wasn't the Triple J Hottest 100 #1 in 2005.

Na ja geht so, kenne von ihm noch "Into the Dark", das fand ich schon nicht so gut, das hier nur bedingt besser - naja, da bin ich mal nicht so und vergebe knappe 4 Sterne! |
