Geht auch mir so. Ohne Stimmen mag ich Musik sowiso nicht so gerne...<br>Eine solide Nummer, die nicht nervt, ich aber auch nicht öfters am Tag hören werde...<br><br>edit: die gesanglichen Songs von Calvin sind um welten besser! Aber "Slow Acid" gefällt mir mit jedem Hören etwas besser! Da sollen doch einige sagen, es käme nichts neues von seiner Seite!<br>Passt perfekt in den Club! 5*

Sounds like a Chemical Brothers track which is a great thing. Clearly it's not the most innovative song, but it sounds fresh for a Calvin Harris single. |

Vor etwa vier Jahren hätte ich für so etwas noch eine 2* reingedrückt, mittlerweile kann ich mir auch solches Zeug ohne grosse Probleme anhören. Kommt im richtigen Moment schon stark rüber, für den alltäglichen Gebrauch aber weniger geeignet... knappe 4* |

Ich habe wohl einen etwas anderen Zugang zur Musik als manch anderer hier und differenziere erstmal gar nicht danach, ob ein Song Vocals hat oder nicht. Das macht Musik für mich prinzipiell erstmal weder interessanter noch uninteressanter bzw. sperriger. Der Song hier ist sehr gut und klar produziert, hätte mir hier nur vielleicht etwas mehr Abwechslung gewünscht.<br><br>Ganz gute 4. |

I found the immediate reaction to this a bit cringeworthy in all honesty. Unfortunately like most artists, you'll have a large amount of fans (or rather, people who were fans) who absolutely hate the more commercial direction that Calvin has gone in with the last two albums. This is not radio friendly in the slightest and sounds more like it fits on "I Created Disco" or "Ready For The Weekend". So of course those fans who hate the pop sound really liked this. Which made me cringe as the disco sound was not completely gone from "18 Months", even if none of the singles had the old sound. I think this just confirms why I despise these annoying people.<br><br>But this track grew on me, it's a very enjoyable instrumental. The most notable reference point I think is "Da Funk", I love "Da Funk" though so that's a positive. I'm glad this made its way onto the album and was released as an insta-grat. |
