I have loved this ever since first listening to the album in November 2012 and was hoping it would be the sixth single and was disappointed when Drinking From The Bottle was released as a single instead and then was dissapointed again when I Need Your Love was released as the seventh single. I'm so glad it was eventually released as a single but it's a pity it didn't live up to the success of its predecessors.<br><br>It's my second favourite on the album and my third favourite from Calvin. An absoloutely amazing dance track. Great vocals from Ayah and fantastic production by Calvin. For some reason it reminds me of Flashback, but that's probably due to Ayah's involvement in the song. It also reminds me of Seek Bromance. But that's a good thing as I like both of those songs. Just fantastic and also is very relaxing to listen to!<br><br>It's a real shame the music video is pretty stupid but thankfully it doesn't ruin the song for me. The video should've been something more like the videos for I Need Your Love or Feel So Close as something like that would suit the song more imo.<br><br>Peaked at #1 on my personal chart for 9 non consecutive weeks<br>#1 on my 2013 EOY<br>#9 on my BOAT 2013 edition

It's around four years since 'I'm Not Alone' graced the top 50 in Australia. At the time I was awestruck at the power and uniqueness of the trancey beat, and it made me wonder how the hell he isn't the biggest thing around yet. Eight top 50 entries from the same album later, I am officially over this same sound. I was over it a while ago actually. It's worlds apart from what he did all those years ago. While this isn't his worst effort, meh. |

Ik vind dit best een acceptabele plaat van Calvin Harris hoor, maar hij heeft betere singles gehad. Wordt het trouwens geen tijd voor nieuw materiaal? Dit is namelijk alweer de achtste (!) single van zijn album. De koe is al genoeg uitgemolken, kom maar eens met wat nieuws, Calvin!<br><br>Edit 11/08/2013: Waar heb je het over, masterdude? De singles van zijn album '18 Months' zijn Bounce, Feel So Close, Let's Go, We'll Be Coming Back, Sweet Nothing, Drinking From The Bottle, I Need Your Love en nu Thinking About You. Dat zijn er acht. We Found Love tel ik niet mee omdat het van oorsprong een nummer van Rihanna is en op Iron is Nicky Romero de hoofdartiest.

@RV het is het negende nummer van het album<br><br>Eindelijk is het zover. Calvin Harris heeft mijn favoriete nummer van het geweldige album "18 Months" uitgebracht. Wat een topnummer is dit. <br><br>@RV Jij had het over nummers van het album, en volgens mij is we found love toch echt een nummer dat op het album staat.

Eindelijk nog 's een goeie voor Calvin Harris! Het was immers geleden van 'Ready For The Weekend' uit 2009 dat de Schotse producer kwaliteit afleverde. Laat ons hopen dat 'Thinking About You' de voorbode is van een nieuw elan! Met dank aan de Londense Ayah Marar wiens roots in Jordanië liggen.

Harris brengt dus ook gewoon zijn hele album op single uit. Dat had in dit geval zeker niet gehoeven. Vrij eentonige plaat die niet echt spannend wordt. |

Clearly I haven't listened to "Flashback" in a long, long time? Never at all would I have picked up on it. I must say that I'm quite astounded at how easily this cracked the top 10 in the UK, perhaps there are more than enough Calvin Harris fans (who aren't fan enough to buy the album, or are just excessive fans that go the extra mile :p) tired of people sticking as asterisk to his record breaking chart feat he's achieved over the last 2 years!<br><br>I did find this song hard to get behind initially because it's the single from the album that seems to project the least personality or intrigue. Even the title isn't very interesting! Lately I've been vibing on it more. Certainly listenable but production does just that little more to make it likeable. 3.8 |
