I don't always get into the country drinking songs, so when I saw the title of this one, I went in not expecting to overly enjoy it. That feeling quickly left as I was swept up in the fun of it all. The melodies in the first verse are engaging, and once the chorus hits it's just impossible to resist how catchy and enjoyable it is. I'm not much of a drinker, so I don't relate to it in any way, but that I still get so into this is I guess a testament to it's strengths. While I'm always going to prefer the likes of "One Number Away" from him, if he can provide me with something that's this much fun I won't say no. |
