The past few years have been very interesting for followers of rap music, but there are records like "beerbongs & bentleys" that do not help in painting this picture. Post Malone can't sing to save himself, and he can barely rap, which makes stringing together a collection of decent rap songs without relying too much on your producers or featured artists to be an insurmountable task. The result is somewhat of a mixed bag of songs with nothing truly awful or great on display. Openly embracing his own lack of artistic integrity, Post doesn't set out to change the formula too much and the result is fairly expected. The reality is that he does not have an hour of worthwhile material to show here, with many unnecessary tracks particularly crowded in the first half. Although on their own they're nothing to rave about, "Psycho", "92 Explorer" and "Candy Paint" are the album's highlights. 2.5

Der Sound ist ziemlich speziell für Nicht-Hiphophörer aber man kann sich das auf jeden Fall mal reinziehen.

Rockstar mit seiner eingängigen Melodie ist die Ausnahme. Allerdings nicht soundmäßig, genauso klingt das Album.<br><br>Rühmliche Ausnahme: Stay.

Außer den ersten Hit, gibt es noch zwei, drei ähnlich passable Songs.<br>Gleich 15 Cuts stiegen in die Billboard Charts ein, unglaublich!<br>3.25*

I bought this album just yesterday and I was really looking forward to see what Post Malone does next. And so I give his second album a go and how did I react? It was actually good. I think he pushed himself up in a variety level with a variety experience. Although his singing had improve and a little off-setting at all times. He may rap a little but not too rapidly. That's Post Malone the way he is in his artistry. You may think was even longer than Stoney well apparently is not, but expect to have 18 tracks with 3 to 4 minutes long. My highlights did appreciate including Otherside and Stay and the singles Rockstar became a grower then Psycho, Candy Paint and Better Now. And its more explicit in the swearing and more hardcore on trap than Stoney. But I love to hear this again. Good album (8.2/10)

Vieles klingt gelangweilt und unmotiviert. Einzig 'Stay' sticht positiv raus.
