Angeblich das allererste komplett digital aufgenommene Album der Rockgeschichte, wenn man den Infos auf dem Cover Glauben schenkt. Ry Cooder beherrscht seine Instrumente meisterhaft - macht Spaß ihm zuzuhören! 4+

Habe mir 79 dieses Album, auf Grund eines Berichtes in der damaligen Zeitschrift Audio gekauft. Hier wurden auch besonders gut produzierte Alben vorgestellt und da ich gerade eine neue Anlage hatte mit einem sehr guten Plattenspieler von Technics, mit einem sehr guten Tonabnehmer, der Pyotr Il'yich Tchaikovskys 1812 in der Ausführung mit originaler Kanone problemlos meisterte, musste diese Platte her. Auf dem Cover war vermerkt "digital aufgenommen". Das in Kombination mit meiner neuen Anlage, versprach einen großen Genuß. Was soll ich sagen. Bop Till You Drop dudelte bei mir von morgens bis abends und ich fand jedes Stück genial, noch heute!
