Taken from the 1981 album "A Land He Calls Our Own". A Australian pop classic that amazingly peaked at #1 for 2 weeks in Australia, 1981.

Average song.

I don't hate it, but it's not particularly great.

OMG! Cringe!

Classic.

Agree with alley's review. It's dire! Awful rubbish. Incredibly tedious and repetitive with lyrics that are meaningless for me. It's also really plain musically and makes no attempt at breaking any interesting ground whatsoever. All this does for me is remind me of one of my least favourites aspects of Australian culture, that being the drinking culture we have. I can see why the average Australian connects with it, but it gives me nothing at all. This nothingness increases every time I'm confronted by this drinking culture (seriously people need to learn to accept a polite "no thanks"). Also feels like it goes on for a really long time, even though it's less than 3 minutes.
