Ok.

back in the House..

****
Good track but was not promoted enough.

Peaked at #40 on my personal chart.

In hindsight it's easy to see how Wolfmother had such a sophomore slump. Simply put, they couldn't come up with the same effortlessly catchy hooks of their first album. It's not through lack of trying either, as they obviously try to slot in a lot of things happening here, like the competing guitar riffs in the second chorus, or the rather neat drumming lead into the chorus. I like these things, but I can see why it wouldn't excite the general populace.

***
Nicht so stark wie Songs vom Vorgänger.
****
Another surprising hit.
***
Never got into it.

Average.

Number 4 on my personal hot 100, number 1 (5 weeks) on my mainstream rock songs and number 1 (7 weeks) on my personal alternative songs during 2009/2010!

Starts off bland but it picks up into the chorus. Not near their best but this is OK.

I've always liked this one a lot, in fact it's probably my second favourite Wolfmother track after "Joker & The Thief". Shame it wasn't any bigger.

Good rocking track, but not as good as some of the tracks from their self titled LP.
***
Not bad but average.
